Permission's Post for Rumpelstiltskin for
sirenspull
Rumpelstiltskin is a fairytale character, in his canon. He comes from a world where fairytale characters are like normal people, and everyone usually gets a happy ending. In the real world, where he is known as Mr. Gold, he knows that he is a fairytale character, and no one else (besides a little kid) knows. In Storybrooke, he knows which “real” person is which “fairytale” counterpart, and he knows every fairytale character, from legends, myths, and fables. Even if your character knows fairytales, they wouldn’t be able to figure out which one he is; even someone who knows fairytales intimately isn’t sure who his fairytale counterpart is.
In his world, Rumpelstiltskin is the most magical person there. Because of the Dark Curse, which banished all fairytale characters to a world with no happy endings, he has lost most of his magic. In Siren’s Port, the curse will be considered broken, in regards to gaining lost powers, and he will gain all of his previous powers back, albeit slowly. Some of his abilities include appearing wherever he wants to, being able to make potions and curses, and making deals with people. That is his biggest ability; he can make a deal with someone, giving them something they want, in return for something he wants. He is a character who always thinks in the long term, and so if he makes a deal with someone, he usually doesn’t ask for anything right away.
”How about...you go to the ball, and one day, I’ll ask you one teeny, tiny favor!”
Sometimes he’ll fulfill his part of the deal through supernatural means, and sometimes through making more deals with more people. In any case, each deal is helped along by magic, so any character that can sense magic, will be able to sense his, even though they won’t know it’s actually him.
To help me out with all this, I’d really like it if you could fill out this permission post! You can go into as much or as little detail as you think is necessary.
Name: Easily explained!
Where is your character from?: Their canon source.
Does your character know any fairytales?: Any kind! Myths, legends, fables, anything!
What does your character value the most? Would they be willing to give it up?: In case Rumpelstiltskin can guess what it is your character values most.
Would Rumpelstiltskin be able to figure out what your character holds dear? Note: He is not a mind reader, but he’s good at guessing people’s weak points!: Some things are easy; most people hold their loved ones dear, but sometimes it’s objects!
Rumpelstiltskin loves to make deals. Would your character make a deal with him?: Yes or no! And any stipulations needed.
All magic comes at a price. Would your character be willing to face IC consequences for these deals? Note: There are always consequences. No exceptions!: Some consequences could mean having your baby taken away, so be careful!
Rumpelstiltskin usually comes to collect his part of the bargain weeks, months, or years after the deal is made. Is that okay?: Hopefully he’ll be around that long!
One last question! Rumpelstiltskin usually doesn’t ask for what he wants, while the deal is being made. He’ll make the deal, and say that he’ll figure something out, but for now the person owes nothing. What could he ask your character for? Note: Sometimes, he asks for simple things. Sometimes, he asks for big things. What would you, as a player, be willing to have your character lose?: This is important; we can work out what your character loses beforehand, but we both need to be aware of how this will all play out!
Also, keep in mind that while Mr. Gold and Rumpelstiltskin love to make deals, they cannot bring back the dead, or do anything to destroy the port. It needs to be something he logically can do, and something I, as a player, will be allowed to do. Also, you and I will need to work all of the details out OOCly, before anything happens ICly. Thank you!
Also, if you have any questions, you can contact me on AIM at liljewishgoy, email at aiua.thread@gmail.com, or by PMings this journal!

Where is your character from?: Kingdom Hearts
Does your character know any fairytales?: Perhaps not as many as some of the other people from his canon, but yes, he knows a fair few.
What does your character value the most? Would they be willing to give it up?: At this point it's either his continued existence or his many and various games. He's not really willing to give either of them up, though. He's lost enough as it is.
Would Rumpelstiltskin be able to figure out what your character holds dear? Note: He is not a mind reader, but he’s good at guessing people’s weak points!: Luxord's got a pretty good poker face, but considering he makes no secret about being a gambler it probably won't be too hard to at least pick up on the games aspect.
Rumpelstiltskin loves to make deals. Would your character make a deal with him?: That probably depends on the circumstances. There's not actually much that Luxord wants badly enough to make deals for.
All magic comes at a price. Would your character be willing to face IC consequences for these deals? Note: There are always consequences. No exceptions!: Of course! He knows better than to expect he'll always win.
Rumpelstiltskin usually comes to collect his part of the bargain weeks, months, or years after the deal is made. Is that okay?: Sure. /o/
One last question! Rumpelstiltskin usually doesn’t ask for what he wants, while the deal is being made. Sometimes, he asks for big things. What would you, as a player, be willing to have your character lose?: I'm not actually sure. :|a If it comes up, let me know and we can figure something out?
Name: Chessur
Where is your character from?: Alice in Wonderland (2010 movie version)
Does your character know any fairytales?: If he does, they're the Underland versions.
What does your character value the most? Would they be willing to give it up?: Cryptic as he is, I'm honestly not sure. I suppose freedom to be himself is up there, but other than that, who knows.
Would Rumpelstiltskin be able to figure out what your character holds dear? Note: He is not a mind reader, but he’s good at guessing people’s weak points!: That depends. How good is he at reading cats the specialize in being bizarre?
Rumpelstiltskin loves to make deals. Would your character make a deal with him?: Nope.
All magic comes at a price. Would your character be willing to face IC consequences for these deals? Note: There are always consequences. No exceptions!: n/a
